FTI Alumni Network Launches with Over 200 Graduate Members

Forever Tvet Institute has officially launched its alumni network, bringing together more than 200 graduates from across Rwanda and the wider East African region. The network was formally announced at an inaugural alumni evening held on campus, attended by graduates, current students, faculty, and several industry partners.

The alumni network operates as a structured community with three core offerings: a job board updated weekly with roles submitted directly by employer partners, a mentorship programme pairing current students with graduates working in their target field, and quarterly in-person events hosted at the school where graduates and students can connect informally.

Membership in the alumni network is free and lifelong for all graduates of Forever Tvet Institute. Registration is completed through a short online form, and members are added to the network's communication channels within 48 hours of signing up.

Several alumni attending the launch event shared reflections on how the school's training had shaped their careers. One graduate, now working as a site supervisor with a major construction firm, noted: 'I came here with nothing and left with a qualification, a network, and my first job already arranged. The alumni community is the next step — staying connected to what helped me get here.'

Current students are encouraged to engage with the alumni network from their first week. Alumni mentors are available to answer questions about the industry, career paths, and what life looks like after graduation. Contact the Dean of Students for details on how to connect with a mentor.
