Program Overview
The EV Cars programme prepares students for the rapidly emerging electric vehicle industry. Students learn to diagnose, service, and maintain electric vehicles and their complex high-voltage systems — skills that are increasingly essential as Rwanda and the world transition to electric mobility.
The curriculum covers EV powertrain fundamentals, battery management systems, electric motor technology, charging infrastructure, and the specialist diagnostic tools and safety protocols required to work with high-voltage automotive systems.
Our graduates are among the first EV-qualified technicians in Rwanda, positioning them at the forefront of a sector that is growing exponentially. They are servicing electric fleets, installing charging stations, and supporting the country's green transport ambitions.
